Chaos, by definition, promotes disorder; there may be evil in madness but not all madness is evil, and this is where the quandary lies for the True Senshi. Through the design of Chaos, a select few, chosen for their madness, have sacrificed the pure starseed that every living thing possesses in favor of a corrupted seed, turned black with the power of discordia.

There are many different kinds of disorder just as there are many different kinds of madness -- delirium and delusion walk hand-in-hand with self-supremacy and phobia. Chaos seeks the corruption and discordance of all, but particularly the true starseeds and the Great Crystals they protect.
